Hottest day of our recent “glamping” trip? Fourth of July. (Door County, WI. 2020)
When not writing…
Ali may be found 1) Behind the wheel of her mini-van (practical—yes, cool—no) shuttling kids to and from school, practice, playdates, and the moon (seriously, it feels that far sometimes);
or
2) Baking a totally decadent, million-calorie dessert (which she will try, but fail miserably, not to eat);
or
3) Swearing (very quietly under her breath) at her Photoshop program in the midst of designing future book covers and teaser graphics;
or
4) Reading every piece of fiction (preferably romance or suspenseful thrillers) she can get her hands on.
Ali lives in Illinois with her husband (whom she met on a blind date—just not their blind date) and three children.
A travel fiend and avid “glamper,” Ali has visited twenty-eight US states (suffering a vehicle malfunction in at least half of them) and five different countries. Keep an eye out for the unbelievable, over-the-top travel mishaps in her stories. Chances are she’s drawing from her first-hand experience.
